While the Cerulean Clouds Ore Depot cries out to KTRI of its chilling contents as a result of Edgar Reece Industries’ (E.R.I.) latest community outreach endeavor, Mining Madness Mondays, Octavius Core bulges with biomass from the economic gauntlet thrown down by Optimus clanlord.
I managed to get a candid interview with one of clanlord’s underlings, the mining drone of -=DSRG=- assigned to Octavius Core, who revealed their operating territory and methods:

(Octavius Core Station) Pilot Aeghwhyn, the founder of squad Independence, has been selected as this year’s Phalera Maxima Award winner. This award, which is in just its second year, is 
voted upon by the citizens of Octavius. Last year’s winner was Clanlord. Aeghwhyn won this year receiving 40% of the vote. Other significant vote-getters included Algore, Amananthy and _RAZAAR_.
“There seemed to be a bit of confusion this year,” said one official responsible for tabulating the votes. “We had people voting twice, we had non-Octs voting and we had votes cast after the deadline. But whether you counted just the qualifying votes or counted all of the votes, Aeghwhyn was the winner either way — so there’s no disputing the result.”

Octavius Core is humming along to open this year’s Feast on the Fallen with last year’s Phalera Maxima winner coordinating Maul production in anticipation of the next Conflux spawning season or infestation plot. The old man clanlord himself was seen goosing production workers to move them a little faster. It is to be noted, the profits are best when distributing from production centers.
Emperor Cineon is scheduled for a moment of peak vulnerability at the opening ceremony, particularly given the cold shoulder he’s given Empress Iulia. Is that why one of the Gent clones managed to escape?
Nessos of The Brotherhood is suddenly concerned about the welfare of the station pilots in The Dark, after projecting his consciousness into the poor husk. Every operation has loose lips, will that ship sink before next week’s flux-off?

(UUNN HQ) Cinatus Consul Nestro Zagabe died this morning in his home as Octavius begins is most sacred holiday — Feast of the Fallen — exactly 56 years after he was named Consul by Emperor Quincitius II.
Neither Emperor Cineon nor the Consul’s son Namtaro (of Thrice Seven fame) were available for comment.

(UUNN HQ) TRI-SEC announced today that is is calling off the manhunt for the clone-pilot -Gent-. Those who participated in the manhunt that resulted in the capture of the other two clones — Gent (Solrain) and _Gent_ (Octavius) — have been rewarded as follows:
Two Tache’s Crest medals have been awarded to pilot Aion for the capture and arrest of the Gent and _Gent_ clones. Aion also received 2 million credits in bounty reward from Octavius.
The new Paladins Pride pin has been awarded to Kefla (two pins) for his assistance in pursuing and apprehending the clones; and to GrimGriz for providing intel on a clone’s location. GrimGriz also received 250,000credits for that information.
The Office of Governor Hasdrubar Carto has also announced that it is discontinuing its bounty and information offers on the one clone who has not been apprehended.

(Cinatus) Cinatus will once again host this year’s Feast of the Fallen holiday, which runs from 120.5.22 through 120.5.24. Although this year’s space-based activities will be limited, Emperor Cineon will lead the Recitation of Heroes in Outpost Station sector once again.

At 16:00 UTC Emperor Cineon will lead the Recitation of Heroes outside Oupost Station where the name of an Octavius warrior or hero from the past is called out aloud and the hero’s accomplishments and victories are recalled. Cineon has asked the citizens of Octavius to submit their own remembrances for him to announce publicly.
Day of Battle – 120.5.23
The Bleeding Skies — All Octavius is called upon to tune beacons RED across Octavius — and throughout all space — for the entire day.
Members of the lesser factions are welcome to challenge those actions.

(UUNN HQ) According to TRI-SEC, one of the three “Gent clones” has been captured and remanded to Oct Core Security. The ship was downed by pilot Aion with assistance from Kefla. Aion will be receiving 1mm credits for the capture and pilot GrimGriz will be receiving 500k credits for information he provided to the bounty hunters.
TRI-SEC also said it is currently negotiation to have medals awarded for those responsible for capturing the clones.

Some of the best pilots Octavius has to offer also assisted in the opening of The Dark Encounter Arena. Pilot _RAZAAR_ flew alongside pilot C-note for a decisive Aptyrex win in the opening round of Shuttles in The Dark, and was leading the score in round 2 when MLDeath claimed the sudden-death Beacon. Our next tournament, “Lil Fighters in The Dark” will take place on Wednesday 120.5.6 at 24:00 (midnight) midnight UTC.
“Lil Fighters in The Dark” is a factional competition between Rank 9 light fighter ships, and competitors will be /homed at the designated Factional Stations within the sector. When the round begins, pilots will full-contact-compete for kills, flux kills and Sensor Array Beacon control for the following point values:
- Pilot Kill 50 points
- Flux Kill 100 points
- Beacon Control at KTRI announcement 200 points
The first factional team to 1,000 points wins the round. The first factional team to win two (2) rounds, wins the Event.
All members of the winning faction will receive a Cesium Medal. All other participants in “Lil Fighters in The Dark” will receive the Captain’s Commendation. Pilots MUST be flying a Light Fighter (Rank 9) and MUST be Mercenary-Tagged in order participate. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the event.
