FESTIVAL! LIGHTS

On Saturday, 123.11.25, Hammer-BS sponsored a contest where pilots competed to see who could tune and hold the most beacons in 24 hours.  More than 130 beacons were tuned.  The results were as follows:

  • Cesium medal: Hammer-BS, 67 beacons
  • Platinum medal: Gus, 21 beacons
  • Antimony medal: Peng, 17 beacons

Captain’s Commendation awards went to Sinver (13 beacons) and A_Powers (12 beacon) — and ALL of these winner also got to pick from a prize pool of PCM-AB3, 2x PCE-3, 2x PCE-5, 4x RB-4 or 10 million — all donated by Hammer-BS.

For the “factional portion” of the contest, Quantar had the most beacons tuned.  Since Hammer-BS was the only qualifying Quantar contestant (10+ beacs) he will be the only recipient of the Antiflux “bonus award.”

FLUX-HUNT

The final Festival! event — again sponsored by Hammer-BS — was the Flux-Hunting Contest. Like Festival! Lights, this was a 24-hour contest.

1st place went Sinver, with an astounding 425 conflux killed.  Sinver will receive the Defender of the Barrier medal.
2nd place went to Hammer-BS, with 257 conflux killed.  Hammer-BS will receive the Tache’s Crest medal,
3rd place went to Aristafan, with 61 conflux killed. Aristafan will also receive the Tache’s Crest medal.

FluxBuster patches will go to Nalym (53 flux), Prof_Chaos (41 flux), Peng (29 flux), Gus (29 flux) and Trogdor223 (24 flux).  The top five (excluding Hammer-BS) will also pick from a prize pool of PCS-3
PCP-4, Stack of EB-3-2-1, Antiflux-ECM, and 10 million credits — all donated by Hammer-BS.

For his work in organizing events and his generous prize donations, Hammer-BS will also be receiving the Echoes of Hope medal.

Medal requests are being submitted and all should be awarded within a week.  For prize-pool selections, see Hammer-BS.
