(Quantar Core) The Quantar squad Brotherhood of the Stone is offering a special Miners Days Holiday mission to find new asteroids in any Quantar sectors — with credits awarded for each previously-uncharted non-common asteroid. The Quantar Tahirs have agreed to double the payouts and to offer a Captain Commendation to each participant, and The Spade of Karadron medal to the pilot with the most qualified finds.
Full details on this squad-sponsored mission can be found on TRI-PLOG.
(Solrain Core) Solrain Premier Crtistofore Parce was very blunt in his assessment of the recent Reconstruction Days holiday. “It was a huge disappointment,” said Parce. “I don’t know what’s going on — whether the election protests has something to do with this, or something else. But the bottom line is we had almost no participation in our space-based public events — and dirtside it was not much better.”
“Nonetheless,” he continued, ” we do need to recognize two people for holiday awards. Hammer-BS was the single entrant in our ‘Name the Heroes’ contest — the one to name the at least five of the Solrain members of the Thrice Seven. In fact, Hammer-BS was able to name all seven. Quite an accomplishment. He will be receiving 5 million credits, a Seeker of Knowledge medal and a PCS-4 for his efforts.” Continue reading →
(Outpost Station) The festivities are over, most of the celebrants have regained sobriety, the maintenance crews have finished putting Outpost Station back in order and through it all there was little news, issues or fanfare about the latest Feast of the Fallen 117 holiday.
This years highlight was Emperor Cineon’s appearance in Outpost sector to do the Recitation of Heroes. Although it would not seem notable, Cineon’s Recitation was interrupted by a Sentient Conflux attack in 114 and Clements IV was assassinated as he was beginning his recitation in 115. Last year Emperor Septus decided that the better part of valor was discretion, and did his Recitation from the Palace Grounds on Martius. Continue reading →
(Amananth) The team of eight engineers who were assembled to try to help figure out how to diagnose and fix the repair systems on the Antiflux Customer Producer , arrived safely at Amananth Station. Seven of the eight had to make the trip in cryo-stasis chambers since they were not jump-capable. Six pilots volunteered to provide flux-cover and escort throughout the journey: Flowbar2, Hammer-BS, hifly, JokeR_GdI, Nafcon and Valmagier.
The trip did not go without incident. Tmolus Shaen, the one jump-capable team member, piloted the mission tow which launched from Wake exactly at 21:30. The trip to Amananth was smooth — at least until they reached Amananth. There they found that a very strong swarm had jumped into the sector from Aman Leap. A few of the escorts jumped in to try to battle the swarm, but they were badly outgunned an outnumbered. Continue reading →
(Octavius Core) The Office of Consul Tesios Muca has reported that the mission to begin the process of repairing or replacing the damaged Plutonium Factory in Oct Core sector has been successfully completed.
“We are pleased to announce that today’s special mission was a success. Hundreds of scans and high-resolution images were gathered by a handful of pilots today. Engineers will now begin the laborious process of analyzing the data. Once that is done, we can determine whether we can repair the facility, or must demolish and rebuild.”
Pilots Blonder, Eleven, Hopwil and SandGod were well rewarded for their efforts, and will be receiving Captain’s Commendations as well.
(Octavius Core) Octavius has announced that it is scheduling a special Factory Inspection Mission to determine whether repairs can commence on the damaged Plutonium Factory in Octavius Core Sector.
“We require as much photographic and scan data as we can get,” said Consul Tesios Muca, who will coordinate the mission. “We call on all non-Quantar pilots to join us in scanning and photographing the damaged factory on Tuesday, 116.9.13 at 20:00 UTC. The mission will last approximately 30 minutes.”
Muca also said that pilots joining the mission will be rewarded with up to 50 Octavius Pol-Rating Points; 500,000 credits; a Captain’s Commendation; and ten units of Octavia Lite.
