TRI HQ (TRI-FP) – The investigation behind the recent “liberation of prisoners” in Outer Storm has led to some extensive revelations about TRI, various “black ops” groups, and how things really work in TRI.

TRINN sat down with Director Atendior Lariraes (TRI-MI) for an extensive, candid interview about what is being referred to by many as “Operation Summer”.

TRINN: Thank you for providing our readers with an update, Director. Can you describe for our readers what was going on? The first many of our readers had heard about this station was in a post by pilot G.Rasputin:

“Late this evening, a force of Special Ops pilots known as the “Rainbow Berets” was secretly assembled amidst the preparations for the TRI WoW Training Session to undertake a very special mission. The mission had been in the works for some time, and took a great deal of time, energy, and patience. I’ll cut to the brief of it – two weeks ago, in a joint effort by Synergy and TRI Marshals, we discovered a Secret TRI Station in Outer Storm named Summer.” Continue reading

TRI HQ (TRI-FP) – TRI Defense confirmed today the station known as “HVQ230”, formerly known as TRI-Defense Pulsar Outpost, has been destroyed.

On Tuesday, a group of scanning pilots gathered data to confirm there were no humans alive on the station before Director Serus (TRI-D) ordered the tactical strike upon the station, leading to its destruction. “Yes, data was picked up and it was entirely consistent with our data on sentient Conflux, but no human life signs were returned,” commented Director Q’son (CSD). “We would have approached the entire situation differently had that not been the case, however.” Continue reading

GREAT PILLARS (TRI-FP) – Annihilitech facilities at Great Pillars were hit today in the early hours of the morning by several stink bombs and small explosives. Annihilitech indicated the damage was minor, and the result of “malicious pranksters”.

“Yes, Annihilitech does confirm there was a small break-in earlier today at our Great Pillars station,” commented Spokesperson Maliech Deoce. “We have taken steps to increase security against malicious pranksters, probably drunk from the nearby Pigeon Coop bar.” Security officials at Great Pillars would not elaborate on the situation, but indicated as a precautionary measure they would be keeping an eye on Quantars traveling in and out of the station. Commented one official, “They’re always up to something.”

TRI HQ (TRI-FP) – TRI Defense issued the following reminder this afternoon:

We are targeting Thursday 103.07.03 as the date to deliver a strike to TRI Pulsar Outpost Station. Pilots interested in assisting in this endeavor are encouraged to gather at Amananth Station around 9:30 PM Ekoos Time. Escorts are needed, as we expect to encounter high Conflux resistance.

Pulsar Outpost Crisis: Next Steps

TRI HQ (TRI-FP) – TRI Defense has made a determination on the next steps to resolve the Pulsar Outpost Crisis, following scanning results and a vicious attack by the Conflux last night.

Director Q’son explained the data and new scanners earlier today for TRINN readers. “While we have found the modified RB products to be of optimal use in moving Conflux, due to the unique problem of this nature we actually modified mining lasers to collect our data. People would be surprised what ‘junk equipment’ can do. Just because something isn’t top of the line doesn’t mean it isn’t useful. We took what we were able to collect and constructed three full scanners. Using some other spare parts, and with consultation of Professor Vandagriff (MSD), we were able to construct a fourth. Just in case. You never really know how many people are going to assist until they show up. I believe one of the major problems encountered last night was not the lack of volunteers to scan the station, but a significant lack of escorts. I believe however, the pilots who did provide escort duties, with the aid of two Enforcers and Director Serus, did a good job under the circumstances.” Regarding the data itself, Director Q’son. commented, “We were able to detect no signs of human life, and data returned to Amananth regarding the sentients has not been consistient with data collected from assimilated beings, such as the Thrice Seven.” Continue reading

Pulsar Outpost Crisis: Scanning Mission Tonight

by Zoe Vexel
From the TRINN Archives

TRI HQ/PULSAR (TRI-FP) – The Pulsar Outpost Crisis enters its third week, with plans to scan the station tonight and decide upon an appropriate course of action.

According to Director Holly Q’son, TRI Conflux Studies Division, not enough materials were brought in to create the planned number of scanners. “We’ve got about enough for half. Not optimal, but what can you do? Three scanners should be sufficient. The people needing scanners should be at Amananth at 9PM ET sharp, as I have a meeting at 9:15PM and will be leaving the hangar by then. I should be back to collect data, but I trust Director Serus can handle that if need be and relay it to our department.”
