Astronomer Traces Continuous Signal to Solrain Space

(UUNN HQ) Quantar astronomer Lirpa Erstens announced today that she has identified a continuous radio signal originating in an area of deep space beyone Solrain, known as the Folfangian Abyss. “It’s clear that this is not a natural phenomenon,” said Erstens. “It is a continuous encoded stream. But I have been unable to determine the method of encoding as yet.”

Initial reports leaked in Solrain have the populace buzzing with the belief that this, finally, may lead to locating the Lost Planet Solrain.

Dannewar Surfaces to Make Statement on Recent Findings

(Solrain Wake)  Seven days ago it was determined that the audio that was captured by Dr. Thane Dannewar did, indeed have underlying data.  Dr. Dannewar has been completely unavailable to the media, but today he released the following statement.

“Initially it was a very emotional time,” said Dannewar.  “You have to understand, I have been searching all of my life for answers about planet Solrain.  I’ve always had some irrational hope that it was out there to be found somewhere . . . still managing to survive.  I’m not sure this recent finding supports that hope.

“What we have appears to be a log created by a distress system.  After the initial entry at 5:52 all subsequent log entries are periodic, every five minutes.  The final intact entry is at 11:00.  There is some corruption of the data within this timeframe and that is unclear whether the log itself  was corrupted or the dataset became corrupted in the intervening time.

“The key is the date:  4816.16.8.  This is a Sorian Standard date-stamp.  The Sorian year 4816 corresponds to the TRI Year 2000 BT — the assumed year of The Great Collapse.  While we usually see Sorian dates expressed as ‘mm.dd’ it is not unheard of for that to be reversed in some systems – and that is the case here.  So the event triggering this distress system happened in 2000 BT at 5:52 on 8.16.  The system stopped recording at about 11:00.  So if we assume this is authentic (and I believe it is), we can hypothesize that what we are seeing is a five-hour period representing the initial effects of The Great Collapse – and, possibly, it’s final catastrophic effects.”

Dr. Dannewar said he is continuing his search for additional evidence of the lost planet, it’s current location, and its fate.

Sol Scientist Believes He Has Identified Ancient Signal

(Solrain Core)  Dr. Thane Dannewar announced today that he has isolated what he believes may be a transmission from the lost planet Solrain.

“I know this just sounds like static to most, but I have been able to specifically extract this as a unique signal — distinct from the cosmic background noise,” said Dannewar.  “I have no idea what might be contained in this signal at this point. I’m releasing it so that others may be able to help ‘group-think’ a way to confirm that this truly is a broadcast of some sort — and if it is — figure out how to extract the data it contains.”

Dr. Dannewar is the grandson of Cameron Dannewar, best known for his role in the Thrice Seven — but who also known for his passion for uncovering the fate of the planet Solrain, which was lost in The Great Collapse.
