(Hyperial)  Hyperial Special Representative, Dr. Viggio Ragne announced today that Jalil Aq’tamm, the jalilwell-known data recovery expert, is a fugitive from Hyperial and that a 10 million credit bounty has been placed on him.

According to Ragne, Aq’tamm had been wanted by Hyperial Security for questioning and his ship had been impounded — but somehow he evaded authorities and was able to gain access to his ship and launch.

Aq’tamm is no stranger to manhunts and intrigue.  In late 114, he went missing after working on a mysterious DSS decryption.  It was revealed later that he was actually in hiding after avoiding an attempted abduction.  After releasing the decryption he eventually came out of hiding and began an independent DSS data recovery business, often aided by pilot Hammer-BS.

There have been no reports of Aq’tamm’s current location, though it is thought he has not ventured far from Hyperial.

UPDATE:  To collect the bounty on Jalil Aq’tamm, a screen shot showing the “kill message” should be sent to Hyperial:  hyperial@tri-subspace.net.

Oct Pilots Wanted for Questioning

UUNN Newswire

(Hyperial Station)  Two Octavius pilots — Blonder and Fenrir — are wanted by Hyperial authorities for questioning.  According to Hyperial, the station’s automated Customs-Scanning systems set off an alert just moments after the pilots launched.

“We are not aware that anything has been stolen,” said Hyperial Dockmaster Renn Torrey.  “But the system showed a NO-SCAN right at the time these two individuals launched — as if the scan was being jammed.  We can’t tell which ship triggered the fault as they launched almost simultaneously.”

Hyperial has also submitted a formal complaint to Octavius, asking for its aid in obtaining information from these pilots.

Drone Down!

by Thane Carios

(Klatsches Hold)  The saga of the Rauder-1 drone came to an abrupt end yesterday around 17:00 GMT when pilots Valmagier and Hammer-BS located the drone in Inner Cloud sector.

“I was not really looking for the drone at first,” said Valmagier.  “I had business to do in Hyperial and flew through Inner Cloud, when I first saw a transmission from the drone. There were no conflux [spawns], which was surprising, because Inner Cloud has an anomaly. But I thougth someone else is searching for the drone, so I finished first my business and flew back to my Pos in Greater Locks to resupply it.”

Apparently Valmagier and Hammer-BS independently found Rauder-1 adrift far out in Inner Cloud.  “I first was making some pictures, because I had not decided, if I will destroy it or if I will tell Hyperial the coordinates and leave it there. Then I saw Hammer-BS approaching and my decision was easy, I had to destroy it first, if I want to get the reward. Hammer and I were both shooting on the drone, but I was lucky to get the kill,” said Valmagier.

Hyperial has not yet made an official comment on the incident.

Hyperial Responds to Quantar Call

UUNN Newswire

(UUNN HQ) Hyperial was quick to respond to Quantar’s call for the destruction of Rauder-1.  “Quantar’s hawkish response to everything we do is getting tiresome,” said Dr. Viggio Ragne, Special Representative for the Office of the President.  “But let me be absolutely clear.  Any pilot who wantonly destroys this drone, will VERY unwelcome in Hyperial, and may find themselves hunted just as vigorously as they hunted Rauder-1.”

With No Sightings During Patrol Mission, Hyperial Calls for All-Out Search

by Thane Carios

(Hyperial) After the recent Faction Mission to patrol Far Gate, T&P, Inner Cloud, Main Gate and The Reaches yielded no sightings of Rauder-1, Hyperial has now called for pilots to do more extensive sector searches.

“We have no idea how many of the mission pilots made any attempt to actually search.  It was probably a mistake for us NOT to include additional awards for the first sighting.  So now we’re going to remedy that,” said Dr. Viggio Ragne, Special Representative for the Office of the President. Hyperial Releases Info on Drone and Calls for Mission

UUNN Newswire

(UUNN HQ) Hyperial today has finally provided some details regarding its Rauder-1 drone ship that has been broadcasting hex code on pilot channels over the last week.

We have run into some issues with our Rauder-1 testing program.  One of the biggest challenges in this project is maintaining the datalink with the drone.  The systems initially built by TRI were designed to handle pilot communications, but the amount of data transfer needed to remotely control a ship over large distances is quite a different matter.

We lost contact with Rauder-1 in Outer Cloud when it was returning from a test flight.  We believe the gibberish code it is broadcasting is related to its malfunction.

We are initiating a Faction Mission to patrol several sectors.  We encourage pilots to run these missions with 50K radars.  If there are ANY sightings of the Rauder-1, please report it immediately to hyperial@tri-subspace.net

Drone-Ship Broadcasts Unintelligible Code

UUNN Newswire

(UUNN HQ)  As reported yesterday in The Unregulated Update, multiple pilots said yesterday that the Hyperial test drone-ship Rauder-1 was broadcasting in hex code on the global chat channel, but was unresponsive to those questioning the broadcast or offering help.

The code broadcast was :  a3 a0 6c 3b 153 a9 4d 2b b5 b8 76 192 24 20 dd de d0 b9 5a 38 1c a1 da 3c 79 4b 24 a7 17e — which appears to be simple hexadecimal — but when translated appears to be just gibberish:   £ l;œ©M+µ¸vƒ$ ÝÞйZ8¡Ú<yK$§ž

Hyperial has not made any announcements as has not responded to inquiries regarding the status of Rauder-1.
