(Solrain Core) The event lineup for this year’s Reconstruction Days holiday — which from from Friday 117.7.7. through Sunday 117.7.9 — has finally been released by the STCC:
1. Name the Heroes
This is a trivia-type event. Full details will be released on the Friday, so keep an eye on UUNN! Answers, submitted to STCC@tri-subspace.net will be due by Saturday 117.7.8 at 24:00 UTC.
2. What’s YOUR Story?
The Henge is a pre-collapse site that dates to approximately 2,800BT. Its massive structures and ancient technology have puzzled archaeologists and engineers for decades upon decades. The most popular theory is that it’s a launch site, but there is no real data to back that up.
Take a look at the picture of The Henge . . . read the little we know about it in TRI-Databank . . . and then let your imagination run wild.
Tell us your story about what The Henge’s original purpose was – and maybe detail its eventual demise. Was it a technological wonder? Was it an epic failure? How long did it operate?
Your story does not have to be scientifically accurate — just creative! We’re not looking for a novel, plot or characters (but feel free, if you want) – just your description. Make it long or make it short. Make it funny or make it tragic. It’s up to you.
Submit YOUR story to STCC@tri-subspace.net by Sunday 117.7.9 at 24:00 UTC.
We will publish ALL of the stories.
- The WINNER will get a Cesium Medal – and 100u of Cesium!
- The RUNNER-UP will get a Platinum Medal and 100u of Platinum!
- ALL OTHER entrants will receive a Captain’s Commendation and an Antiflux.
3. The Production Race – Saturday 117.7.8 at 15:00 UTC
Fire up your favorite Market Tool and Race against friends and foes alike to manufacture an item that we will announce. The race will begin at Cornea Station and will end there exactly 90 minutes later. Use any ship. Use any equipment. The thing you need MOST will be your brains!
The pilot who delivers the MOST of the requested items will win a Cesium Medal and 5 million credits! The second and third-place finishers will win the Platinum and Antimony medals respectively.
There must be at least three racers in order for this race to be run.
