Hyperial Announces Successful Drone-Ship Test

UUNN Newswire

(Hyperial)  The Hyperial Department of Technology announced that is has successfully tested a prototype drone jump-ship.

Today we successfully completed the initial jump tests of a prototype remotely controlled jump-ship.  The ship, named Rauder-1 in honor of our former president, successfully ran an anomaly scan mission in Outer Cloud sector — two jumps from Hyperial.  All commands were executed within parameter and we are currently analyzing the logs for all systems.

This is the first time in recent history that Hyperial has had direct control of a jump-ship.  Because it never joined TRI, Hyperial has no access to the genetic modification process needed by jump pilots and has previously had to rely on mercenary pilots.

Sources indicate that the Hyperial prototype ships actually used an Octavian Peregrine hull.

    • I’m not sure Hyperial is a “race” but it certainly is a nation. And I have no idea what you mean by “playable.” But if this pans out it could certainly expand their sphere of influence.

  1. oct peregrine is a good hull for testing , just wondering where they got their telemetry-data from ?
i been flight-testing a lot of the drones in hyperial space
