(Solrain Core) TRI Corp today announced that its Board of Governors has named Garth Taren to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

Taren, 48, has served since 108.8.11 as Executive Vice President in charge of the TRI Industries Division. Prior to this, he has held senior management positions at Infinite Heavy Industries and Tens & Piney where he developed a reputation as both a strong leader as well as an innovator.

TRI spokesperson, Elle Rodan, said that the TRI board unanimously selected Taren based on his track record leading a complex organization, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities.

“Our search for a new leader to return TRI Corp. to sustained success has been focused and thorough,” said Rodan. “A screening team of board members, established a broad field of candidates and interviewed many individuals. We then recommended the strongest contenders to the board as finalists. Each was interviewed by the entire board, and Garth was our top choice.

Taren said, “TRI is an amazing organization, affecting the well-being of people from all factions. Although in the past few years, we have undergone a tremendous metamorphosis, we have a proud history of innovation, outstanding talent and enviable positions in many of our products and services. It’s a great honor to join this leadership team and have the opportunity to continue building on past successes.”

Taren will take up his new duties on 110.10.24. He succeeds Mosh Rothard, a 16-year TRI veteran, who has been serving as interim CEO for the last 28 months.
